We made the mistake of asking the matre d' about a wall which looked like a bank vault. He sent the owner over, who proceeded to tell us the extended version of how he and his partners acquired the restaurant, raised money to buy it, supplied it with decor... for about 25 minutes until our food was cold. Food was unremarkable but expensive.

Food was made to perfection. Atmosphere was pleasant. Wait staff was attentive. The seating arrangements were cramped. Prices are consistent with NYC upscale restaurants. All in all, it was a good restaurant but was a bit pricey and cramped.

I was charged $8 for a bottle of filtered water from the tap? The mashed potatoes had chunks of garlic and they were out of the bison burger, the whole reason I went there in the first place.

Steaks were great, but NYC pricing was a bit much. The staff was very friendly and knew the menu inside and out. The decor is very chic and cozy, but a little too cramped.

A cute little spot (original brick walls with local artwork) tucked away near some shops right next to the train station. Bring a big appetite & a big bankroll for steaks that are to die for. Morton's-like portion, but superior quality. You can pick from a variety of homemade dipping sauces to compliemnt your beef. Be sure you try the yucca fries too!
