three of us drove to Milford on Sunday - not much of a crowd but understand..big seasonal tourist area. Service was attentive , kitchen was very slow. But the food was solid. Oysters were great , fish was fresh and the bread was hot ! Nice wine list and my old fashioned was very very good. Very nice people own and work there. We will be back.

We had dinner at the Millford Oyster House this weekend and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I had grouper which was cooked perfectly. My husband had scallops that were prepared great as well. Their special appetizer was steamed mussels w/sweet onions and tarragon - for $9.95 it was a HUGE portion and very delicious. They also have a nice wine list. This is a great place to dine. We'll definitely return.

The Milford Oyster House is my new favorite restaurant. The food is absolutely incredible, the service is outstanding, the decor is beautiful, and the prices are reasonable. We tasted appetizers, entrees, and even dessert, and everything was so delicious and fresh. Ed, the owner, was very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. This is a wonderful place overall.

Great atmosphere and personal service for regulars and newcomers. With some innovative seafood dishes, chef Ed Coss does his CIA heritage proud service. Definitely worth trying if you are passing through the area. A great value!

I highly recommend the Oyster House at its new location. We had a great dinner. We ordered the crab cakes and fish and chips.
