I used to love DB's but no more. DB uses SHALLOW plates to trick you to think a very small $20 risotto with 1 stalk of asparagus & a $18 spaghetti are larger than the $1.50 worth of ingredients. Tuna tarter & brick chicken were excellent. Serrano ham croquettes needed ham. Desserts not worth the money. DB insanely marks up their nicely crafted wine list by 4X. 2007 Logan Chardonnay for $47; DB, you barely paid $12 for the bottle. Won't go back!

"I am a regular. Danny's hamburger is second to none; His sliced steak is a delight; and for a change of Pace, his chicken is superb..And then of course their is always the cherubic smiling hostess, namely, Audrey who is always so hospitable. Make sure to stop in. And do not forget to reserve early."

Fine neighborhood restaurant. Good food in pleasant surroundings and an attentive and knowledgable wait-staff.

"One of the best restaurants in Queens, bringing some Manhattan-like culinary sophistication to Metropolitan Avenue. Professional service. "
