We weren't sure we were in the right place to begin with... looks more like a sleazy bar from the outside, but it is another thing altogether inside - buzzy atmosphere, efficient staff and outstanding food. We were dubious about the "sous vide" cooking and strange combinations, but it was all excellent. They have a good wine list and great wine glass too.

I prefer Jack's for their late-night offerings. There are so few places in Baltimore where you can enjoy inventive cuisine and welcoming service after 10pm! The beer list is way too fun and well organized. I am always treated well at Jack's!

A new favorite for Baltimore residents in the know, this place features a hip space with unusual food that sparkles. Jack's is wiling to try combinations that other places will not and they seem to succeed every time. This bar/restaurant is small, so plan to wait for a bit, but the food and great atmosphere will keep you coming back.

My fiance and I have eaten here twice for dinner and have been wowed each time. the food is unbelievable creative and delicious. You just have to try it.

Be prepared for bizarre and inventive food, from swedish streetfood (a hot dog in a wrap with shrimp salad) to tuna with pop rocks. Endlessly fascinating, even in failure, and well worth multiple trips. Stick to their updates of bistro favorites and you won't be disappointed.
