By far the best brunch in town. Food is outstanding, new preparations, wide, eccelectic variety of cuisines. Not the typical tourist crap. Stark but hip atmosphere. Great service. Hidden jewel. I hope locals are smart enough to keep it alive. Great place for wine and cheese and to meet for a date.
Coming from out of town I was hoping to make my stay at table 45 a special event. The service, food, decor were exceptional. I was directed and helped by the general manager and all my request were met with great ease. My 5 spice braised ribs and even the special private booth were all up to my strict standards. Thank you Table 45 for the great memories.
Tasty eats, outstanding service, but trite 'modern' decor (too many issues of Dwell, I think). Good options for vegetarian diners, and outstanding wine selection (they inherited the old list from Classics - who knows how this will be maintained though). Service can be speedy or leisured, depending on your will - we asked our server not to ruch us, and had a 2.5 hour meal. Others were in and out much more rapidly.
A lot better bargains for the price. Food is solid but not exceptional for an exceptional bill.
