This is a very kitsch place, but one that could be fun if you went in just wanting to take it for what it is. Lots of drinks would be required! Room is spectacular - everything else is beyond average. So far down on Randolph that it's impossible to get a cab when you're done.

Decor is nice, but the food is of poor quality. Our dinner was much below expectations. Filafel was served cold and hard, the "so called" Turkish coffee was nothing more than hot flavored water, the Pita bread was burnt, the shaverma & lamb shank was below average for what we paid for it. The management attitude is that of "I do not care" for after multiple complaints about the food, the most we got was an apology from the waiter.

Service was bumpy, but not a hinderance for us having a good time. The food was good. We ordered 3 hookahs and moved to the bar area. Then the manager and our waitress came over and accused us of smoking "something". He offered no apology, just the certainty of his accusation. It was insulting, bizarre, and backwards. Diner beware! They are not used to any standard of customer service.

Me and my bf went to Alhambra On Valentine’s day. An hour after we were seated - a server took our pre-set 5 course meal order ($105 per person!) The tinniest sampler of hummus and babaganush - were served w/o pita bread and were ridiculously small. It took FOREVER for ALL the courses to be served. The food was ok but the service was awful!!! For a $225.00 bill??? That is just unheard of! Don't waste a dollar at this place!

We went for Valentine's day and there only 2 choices, a $75 3 course menu and a $105 5 course menu. We chose the latter and what an outrageous rip-off. The food was definitely not worth the money I mean not even close and at the same time the service was bad. What a waste of money this place is. The dcor, ambiance and entertainment are very good but that's it. Don't waste your money on this place unless you want to show-off.
