Quick stop here for lunch between meetings at the W. Did the soup and salad – mushroom soup was exquisite but very small serving. Salad was interesting but the various flavors including chick peas didn't come together into a unified whole as well as it might have. Chocolate decadence desert was flavorful but a bit too dense.

The pastries are just unbelievably good. Everything we tried was to die for--I wish we were in Seattle for weeks just so I could try a different pastry every day. Today's almond croissant was perhaps the best croissant I've ever had. Just for fun, they should film the biggest loser onsite--I don't know how any contestant would not be able to cave and eat the whole case full of pastries.

Real disappointed after seeing that this place was highly recommended. I don't think they even make their own pastries. You could buy better at any local grocery store.
