I am surprised to read previous reviewers since our (4) experience was so different. The service was friendly, bordering on intrusive. The food was good, but not very good. Our best selection was boneless chicken, a dish that is equally "good" all over town. My black cod was tiny, dry, and swimming in a sad "chowda" along with 3 clams. I didn't even care that that there was very little there. The tables and chairs are incredibly uncomfortable.
Better food Better service A better wine list and more consistency than any other of the independent joints in town. Potager, Riajo, Table 6 are hit or miss. This place always delivers. The wine list is good but far too skimpy. Decor is awful.. But in four meals there I have been impressed every time. The special desserts such as sweet potato pie are delicious as is the entire menu.
