Mexico DF and it's sister, Maya, may very well be the best upscale Mexican restaurants in the city. With three guacamoles and multiple ceviches to choose from, your meal starts well...and continues on that way.

Can't beat the location and the atmosphere, although the service can be indifferent and the eats are overpriced for the portions.javascript:nothing();

What a pleasant surprise! Outstanding food that evokes the real essence of Mexico. Great wine list. Try the Bodega Aguirre wines. Exquisite and a bargain to boot.

I think the food is surprisingly good and atmosphere fun, but that view has not been universal.
