Steaks are hit and miss and way overpriced but every thing else is pretty good. You can even get meatloaf and chicken pot pie. Great bar. Good bar menu also.

My partner and I have felt very welcomed in this down to earth Tavern. Being a snob when it comes to good Clam Chowdah they rate the best in my book. The Blue Crab Cake is outstanding do not deny yourself of this delicatable We have enyoyed sitting at the bar and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Their pizzas are great also. We are looking forward to having dinner next week. We`ll let you know what we think.

Try the Bone-in Ribeye, it's the best steak South of Boston! The fireplace is back to add to the already beautiful decor.

I have liked everything I have tasted. This is a happening place on the quiet south shore. Love the appetizers at the bar. The jury is out on the heated olives - I think I prefer them cold or room temperature

Scarlet Oak is a good bet. The menu should satisfy anyone's taste. Entres range from moderate priced home meals to the usual upscale dinners. Generally, they're pretty good. The Sirloins could be better, but they're ok. They did a good job remodeling, although this building remains noisy when moderately filled. This is a great place for drinks and meals in the Bar. Expect they'll make it!
