You need to like the sea to really appreciate this place, right on Tomales Bay.

Expect to spend $20 for a sandwich. Disappointed by the Fried Oyster Po'Boy. Dark, overly marinated onions in balsamic vinegar overwhelmed the sandwich, had to pick the onions out because it was so tart. Not worth $19 for this sandwich. The French fries are delicious. Very nicely decorated restaurant and dock. One of the best clam chowders I've ever had. Huge, generous chuncks of clam and great broth. Very, very nice waitress who was attentive.

Stopped for a late lunch. Decor is great, akin to the Nantucket/Martha's Vineyard area. Food was good, expensive, but the area is like that. Service is good, but they could use a little polishing up on initially greeting guests as well as getting to your table faster after you are seated. We'll try the place for dinner on our next swing through the area.

Casual-upscale dining at water's edge. Come early to catch the spectacular view or stay in a beautiful 1950's style cottage - you can walk down the boardwalk to your room after dinner!
