I ordered the vegetarian platter and everything on it including the injera was super delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place.

Fun place, but timid diners may be septical of highly spiced stews eaten with hands(forks available on request). Food is served on top of buckwheat "crepes" and is eaten by tearing the crepe and transferring crepe food to mouth with hand. Wide selection of vegetarian dishes and stewed meats.

What an experience for the taste buds! Let the wait staff guide your dining decision if you're a first timer. Definitely a destination spot.

Blue Nile served perhaps the best meal I have had in Houston. Compares favorably to Ethiopian restraunts in NYC and DC. The coffee ceremony is great fun, but only for those with plenty of time.

This restaurant is a little out of the way, but the food is well worth. It has a full bar, but the specialty of the house is a unique honey wine. The place has a casual atmosphere with wonderful art from Ethiopia on the walls. The service is mediocre at best.
