Unbelievably disappointing. The physical space is gorgeous, but the lighting and lack of warmth turns the room into a dining hall. The triple appetizer option was the only good thing - oh, and only the volcano tacos were good of those. fyi: shredded chicken = ground chicken. You'd think at least the pisco sours were good? No, but were more like 2 oz. of limeade w/a little egg white froth.

Absolutely fantastic. I wish I could eat there every night. Food items of a nature that was familiar and yet different than anything I have ever found elsewhere. The only drawback is the lack of a wine list.

Great concept, on the heels of La Duni, but Alo feels like a stepchild. The wine list is deplorable, the service spotty, and all this adds up to an evening less than perfect despite very creative and good food.
