great menu with tons of interesting things to choose from. unique, but not precious. service was knowledgeable and fluid...a little laid back but always gracious. terrific beer selection. the pasta and fish dishes we had used very fresh ingredients. great music as well. a fun, upbeat, hip take on dining. would definitely go back.
Bin 18 has now established itself as a stellar, sophisticated, neighborhood eatery. It's worth traveling to, but most of the clientele are grateful locals who appreciate the innovative Mediterranean menu, excellent friendly service, outstanding wine list (together with accurate, informed staff recommendations), and slightly funky decor.
From top to bottom a big fat disappointment. It took our "server" 20 minutes to take our drink order and he was rude and acted like he'd rather be elsewhere...By the time the 1st course arrived(45 minutes later) i had about lost my appetite. And not just from the crappy club music but from stench and smoke filled dining room....The food was awful and even the owner was rude. I will never go back, and i wouldnt recommend it to my worst enemy.
Your money goes for great food. The great service comes from the heart and can't be bought.
I've been to bin 18 several times in the last year and i have to say that you can't beat the quality of the food, cost and the service. They changed the menus recently and I was surprised to find ten extra main courses to the menu plus a separate antipasto/tapas menu. Before they used to charge 36 $ for a tapas board and 4 people could share it. Right now you can customize your own tapas board and choose the size that you want. Congrats to the tea
