Stunning location & a great evening of amazing music and good food. Food was surprisingly good for a jazz club -- some innovative combinations of flavors & spectacular convergency of music, food & decor.

You go to this place for the music, not the food, although the food is a cut about what you might expect in a jazz club. The desserts are especially down home and innovative at the same time. Peanut butter cupcakes anyone? It's very pricey but there are nights with special deals.

This is a beautiful place to dine and listen to music. I was really stunned, having no real idea of what to expect. The food was solid. The service from the wait staff was a bit spotty, but the bussing was deft and prompt. The revelation of the evening was the wine list, which is top tier. Matt Ahern, the wine director, deserves high praise for the cellar he has assembled. This place is first class.

This is one of the most perfectly designed restaurants that I have ever been to - every detail has been considered and thought out. The experience is a sensory overload. The wait-staff is knowledgeable and very friendly and the food is exquisite. All of this AND you have the chance to enjoy some of the best jazz/rock/folk music in the country! Definitely our "special occasion" place in San Diego!
