The Iron Cactus has amazing fajitas and margaritas. Also you have to try a tequilla flight. Each flight has three shots of tequilla so you can try different tequillas at a great price. The bartender told me that Iron Cactus was voted one of the best tequilla bars in the country. Pretty cool.
It's not the food that brings you to Iron Cactus: it's the 70+ tequilas they have for your enjoyment. Grab a flight of some obscure reposados and an order of nachos and start your night right!
We had a nice evening, enhanced by the great food, fast and friendly service and an ambiance that was quiet for the Riverwalk. The Carnitas were excellently seasoned, and my wife enjoyed her shrimp Enchiladas immensely, The Mariachi music very entertaining, with nice variations on the usual themes. Played outside the standard also, with a surprising version of "When The Devil When Down to Georgia". The decor, however, was very plain.
Nice atmosphere and good service. Very nice guacamole prepared tableside. Good fish tacos. Wide range of margaritas. Good value for lunch or casual dinner.
