I really enjoyed this location during the winter, their fireplace is very inviting. I find people from all cultures, a friendly and accomodating staff. Good wine, nice desserts and rich sandwiches with rich sauces. Yummy! Casual and clean dining room with rooms for groups, areas next to the windows and to top it off, you can learn a little french while in the "pubel" (?), bathroom, lol. Shopping is in the same area along with bookstore.
Not what it used to be! The pastrys and bread here are unfortunately no longer baked in the ovens on-site - they look and taste very much mass-produced as I am sure they are in some big "bakery" miles away. The pastries in the cabinent that used to look so enticing now look stale and lackluster. The good news is that if you are watching your weight, you won't be tempted here anymore.
If you want a croissant or a quick sandwich this place is perfectly acceptable.
A great place for lunch or supper. The fireplace is a plus in the winter.
Cute French bakery that has a great atmosphere. The food is pretty good and not too expensive.
