Gorgeous view -- but that is all -- go for a drink but DO NOT EAT THERE. Sullen waitress with no personality who pushed the high priced special of the night when we asked for a recommendation-- lukewarm lobster bisque, well done prime rib ordered rare, institutional looking plates with globby sauces. Below ordinary in food and terrible in service.
Initially we were thrilled witht he view and table. It went downhill from there. We had to ask for a server to take our drink order. Appetizers were excellent, but entrees were lukewarm and tasteless, dessert was even worse. The air conditioner blew artic force winds. Our waiter was apologetic, but nothing was done. We were infromed on our way out the door that shawls were available for the ladies in our party. Gee thanks, nice timing.
Disappointing visit to this Chart House location. Our party of 4 arrived on a Wed. night and were told we had to wait in the bar. This seemed odd considering the restaurant was not even half full. It seemed to be a ploy to have us order drinks in their empty lounge upstairs. The food was average. I used to visit the Annapolis, MD restaurant on a monthly basis, where the food and service were impeccable. This location needs improvement.
Snotty staff. After being informed that they'd lost our reservation (that I made a month in advance), we were parked in the bar and ignored for 45 minutes before finally leaving.
Visited twice in the last 6 months--The best view of the city and surroundings by far in a restaurant that turns 360 degrees in an hour as you dine in high-style. Beautiful lounge for a scenic cocktail and the food is above average although pricey because-"well look where you are." The service however is disappointingly slow so don't be in a hurry-just enjoy the view. GO FOR THE VIEW WHICH SURPASSES THE FOOD AND AND SERVICE EVERYTIME.
