Thank you for opening such a great restaurant in Redwood City. It is a beautiful spot. Food and service show great promise, food especially. Wonderful drinks as well.

this is truly a find: A top-notch restaurant on an ordinary street in Redwood City. Chef Daniel has put together a most unusual menu, along with a terrific wine-by-the-glass list and exciting cocktails. You can eat in the bar; busy on weekends, but easier to get a table weekdays.

Oh Red Lantern, how happy I am that you're here! As Redwood City continues its modernization of the downtown area which already has some fine restaurants, Red Lantern takes it up a notch and delivers top-quality fare with an asian fusion flare. Excellent food, reasonably priced and great for a nice dinner, or a couple of drinks on your way somewhere.
