Great exciting food. Iced shaved foie gras is a must. This is truly a dining experience and you must go a few times to get the full experience of the menu. Make reservations early

Best small plate restaurant for foodies in New York today. We savored ten dishes paired with 10 wines in about two hours seated on comfortable stools with excellent well paced service. A number of the plates stand out especially the frozen shaved foie gras and the oxtail ravioli. David Chang's cooking is not deep in flavor; however, he excels in using differing textures and combinations. Reservation system painful but well worth the effort. Go!

Well...... Not really my cup of foam. An invariably interesting and truly inventive if not always totally coherent dining experience. Maybe that's the rub - it's more a dining experience than a comprehensively wonderful meal. The whole is sadly less than the sum of the parts. Enjoyable, in a clinical sort of way, but not one to repeat. Also just plain and plainly uncomfortable. Excellent service and communication from the Chef.

As much an experience as it is a meal and everything it is cracked up to be. David Chang's food is absolutely brilliant. Every course (and there were 10) is masterfully constructed and delivers an amazing depth of flavor and perfect contrast of textures. The chefs are cordial and happy to explain/discuss each dish while the servers are warm and friendly. Go with an open mind and enjoy.
