I love dives and I have no problems with rules or waiting long time for food. I have NO IDEA what people like about these burgers. They are not tasty (meat is not seasoned and falls apart as you try to eat), chili is way too salty, fries are greasy and taste of fish for some reason. In short, food is just as bad as the service. Even if this was a nice place with the shortest wait and the nicest service, I would still give it 0 stars.

We waited 40 minutes while the "1st seating" completed eating. Got the lowdown from some locals about Miss Ann's "house rules". Once inside it was like sitting at Mom's kitchen table. No elbows on the counters, no cell phones, just pure cooking spiced w/ lots of seasoned salt & love. The world famous "ghetto burgers" are the bomb & the chili cheese fries. OMG..the chili is to DIE FOR! This is a MUST DO when in Atlanta, be prepared to wait!

Don't blink or you will miss it. This small dive--the counter has only seats 8--serves the biggest hamburgers around. The menu is limited--with Ghetto Burgers, Hood Burgers, and fried hot dogs served with variations of bacon, cheese, chili, slaw and other toppings. The enormous burgers ensure guests will not leave hungry. The wonderfully greasy fries are the perfect compliment to Ms. Ann's hospitable disposition. A favorite of the Atlanta Polic

So, you gotta want to come here, and BAD. Yes, you have to wait for one of 8 seats to come inside. And yes, Ann, can be cranky. BUT, this is the juiciest, messiest, hamburger you can ever get anywhere at any price. The Ghetto burger is legendary, just like Ann's temper. But, if you can brave the attitude, it is all worth it!!

You do not go here for the service, I repeat you do not go here for the service. Only the food. I grew up on Miss Ann's food. Her food is so good that we would sneak away at lunch time in high school to get lunch. Only to be cursed out for leaving school property and told to come back after school. The agony of defeat.
