A Saturday afternoon lunch was disappointing. The service was dreadful, with over an hour wait for light fare (salads, etc.), The Cafe was not busy, so there was no excuse for poor service. If the food had been better, it might have been worth the wait. Unfortunately, the food was nondescript.

This is a nice find in the city of Beacon. i am sure to return to sample the rest of the menu choices. This is a nice change to some of the ordinary food that one can find in Dutchess County.

I am from Europe-Montenegro.I visited a cafe Amarcord a sevral times,I must say that my impressions about this restaurant are exellent,i liked everything ,the food ,service and the atmosfhere ,I felt like i was at my home,What i liked the most was the sea food ,fish ,mussel and pasta.When i come to america again i must definitly visit caffe amarcord,my advice to you who likes a good meal visit caffe amarcord ,you wont regret it.
