The marinated, unbreaded calamari is a garlicky and delicious appetizer. It starts off a little strong but becomes better with each bite. I will order it again. Each dish was a unique and positive experience. Impressive wine list, comfortable seating, good acoustics.

Food, decor and service are all outstanding. When you walk in you sense that is going to be a good gastronomical experience, and when the food arrives to your table you are not disappointed. Their commitment to use fresh, local, ingredients contributes to results. I had one of the best fresh asparagus soup that I have ever had.

One of my favorite restaurants, what a fun atmosphere! I love the tuesday night "Cellar Raid"! every wine on their list is half off for happy hour, I bring my friends to the "enoteca" and we always have so much fun. If the weather is nice, theres outdoor seating as well that overlooks the water. Dont miss the cheese selection either. Best Italian in Baltimore.

Took a friend there for her birthday and what a delightful evening we had. The food was scrumptious and rich and so very typical of Northern Italian fare. I ordered numerous appetizers and a few pasta dishes so we could work around the menu. Finished with a Filet Mignon steak, that melted like butter in our mouths! Wow!! Had an excellent wine pairing, Albina Rocca Barbaresco, made the night! I'll be back with more friends in tow!

I am always on the lookout for good calamari, and am usually disappointed. I have ordered the Calamari appetizer (a simple saute, no breading) 3 times now at Cinghiale, and it has been perfectly prepared each time. I could spend all day reading that wine list.
