A second visit a year later gave me a much better impression of this popular restaurant. My endive salad with cheese and flatiron steak with green peppercorn sauce were both very good and the Vacqueyras wine was terrific as an accompaniment. The air-conditioning was working and made the pastel tinted space more charming than last year. Have revised all categories upwards.

Very good Bistro fare and friendly service, although the steak frites needs some work (I prefer an unsliced steak). The cafe Liegois was just coffee with ice cream, no like the rich coffee syrup you get in France. A great addition to the Palisades neighborhood and will be back.
