Lobster Club greasy and fries soggy-disappointing. Fish sandwich fishy and fish of unknown origin. Great bread!! Menu read better than it tasted. Beautiful restaurant and convienient location. Attitudes could do with some adjustmnet!
A bit strange with their tastings of the raw bar. But the small choices were mostly liked by the table. Dinner was good, not great. The prices might be a bit much for what they serve. Dessert, however, was ridiculously fun. The candy bar tasting is great (again most of the tastes were well-liked, but not all). While the decor might remind you of Ikea because of its modern and simplistic shapes, it's not cheap looking. Services was ok...
erratic success ...better know what to order and what to avoid
The dining room is attractive. And its not too loud, not too quiet. The dinner menu is strange, however. I went with a party of four and we all decided to order a mixture of raw bar, small, and large plates. While every individual dish we tried was delicious, creative, and tastefully plated, nothing seemed to go together. Chorizo mac & cheese next to raw-fish tacos, followed by a duck egg, and then ricotta ravioli? We didn't get it.
This is an expensive restaurant; the service was slow but caring. The food was terrific. The wine list very good a bit pricey and the decor somewhat spartan but warm. Tables are set well apart and the noise level allowed for a conversation. The emphasis is on sea food - c house, get it. The raw bar was ok - I like my fish and meat cooked except for oysters - they had a nice sampling of oysters which were very fresh.
