The best deal by far is the 8oz combo. Try the truffled potato skins w/your juicy & delicious, perfectly blended & cooked burger. Then wash it down w/ a cold Slay & Cuozzo. After trying the stuffed olives, the cheese curds & the chix wings, I say skip the starters but fear not, you will not miss them. Service is decent & if you have to drive a while to get there, it's ok cuz the burgers are totally worth it.

Good food at good price, but too noisy to even hear yourself think, much less engage in conversation. Waitress even had to yell to be heard. We (4) gulped our meal down and ran out (with headaches). While we enjoyed the food, we won't be back. Richard

A very good hamburger. The Suds and Slider dish is great. The deviled eggs and potato salad are really tasty. I took my kids who have eaten hamburgers from Honolulu to New York and all claimed 8 oz. was in they're top 5.

The burgers are almost as good as the ones at Father's Office, and you don't have to wait in a line forever to get a table. The homemade ketchup is terrific, as are the other toppings. For those who love Bloody Mary's, they serve a bacon Bloody Mary that is addictive. The decor is kind of frat-house basement, but the quality and the prices make up for the environment.

Not sure when burgers became such a hip happening thing to eat. Not sure when Melrose ave decided it needed to have a burger joint. But, happy it all happened. 8 oz is a great place to meet friends for a bite and beer.
