I had dinner here outside one pleasant summer evening and the food was very good. It's true, this is mostly heavier fare that will go down better when it's colder outside. But the home-made sausages were great. The beer selection is excellent.

They have a good beer list and the service is good. That said, it's over priced both on the food and the beer--$32 cheese meat plate and $8 beers. Also, we had a chicken pot pie that had potatoes in it that were rock hard--gastro pub indeed. As for decor, the outside is nicely done. The inside manages to be pretentious and grossly minimalist at the same time. WC written on the toilets and naked cinder block on the main wall. Can't recommend it.

It's a bit pricey for what you receive.

WAAAAAAY overpriced and not worth the money. You can get the same beers elsewhere in the DC area for 5-6 bucks instead of the 8-9 that they're charging. And we don't need another freakin overpriced cheese plate in the area!

Jamie Leeds has done it again. Excellent patio, but the food will be better digested in the colder months ahead. Overwhelming beer and wine selection.
