Great hangover food. Very tasty fusion food. Some might be disappointed as tastes not that typical for certain cuisines but overall still excellent. Pricey.

This restaurant encourages "communal dining" with its large tables at which you sit with random other diners. It has a menu that includes some excelletn rice-based appetizers and several noodle dishes. A great way to enjoy the food is to share appetizers and entrees. The food is very good, carefully prepared, most flavorful. It is a BYOB place, and you would be well served to bring high-quality beers with some hop or lots of malt.

If you are in dire need of some way salty soup head off the beaten path to Coast. The soup portions are good value but the wontons / dumplings, although good are way over priced

If you want the best Asian food in Chicago this is the place to go. The chef and his wife run this small restaurant. I tried (a group of six) several of their soups, appetizers, specials, and one item after another was quite unbelievable. Don't eat another meal out until you eat at Urbanbelly.

Inventive, but not consistently delicious dumplings. Better than average noodles. Not inspiring enough to get me to return.
