Definitely a Hollywood Hot Spot, the ambiance is very chic, down to every lean & beautiful service person. But don't be fooled, the FOOD is actually very respectable. We tried the DineLa menu but are already planning a future visit to really taste Michael Mina's wares. The root beer float was AMAZING as was the coconut sorbet so make sure to save room for desert.

One of my favorite new restaurants. Its rare to find a place where the ambiance and the food are both outstanding. I went for the Dine LA week but can't wait to go back and have the tasting menu soon. What a beautiful place, perfect for a proper date night.......chic (without being too trendy) and romantic place with beautifully prepared food that taste good.

Delightful expereince. We had the 11 course tasting menu. Every dish was inventive and outstanding. The ambiance was elegant. The combination of tastes on each dish blended beautifully.And every staff member from bus boys to servers to Captains were friendly, courteous, and attentive. we have been to Mugaritz, San Celoni, Sona, Providence and numerous other great restaurants, XIV is right there with the best.

Dinner 3 times at XIV. The food is creative. We sat at the Chef's table. Michael visited our table and gave our dinner a personal touch. I only wish the service was as good as the Food. We had the 14 course tasting menu, it was wonderful. But the waiter was not attentive and I found my self looking for him too many times.

Great small plate selection with an interesting mix-and-match prix fixe menu. Beautiful room and surprisingly professional service for such a trendy eatery.
