OMG! The bread! OMG! Just simple bread and butter is enough to bring me back, but I can't wait to travel the metro through the rest of the menu too. It's like being in a "big city" or even in Paris -- the flavors are well combined and priced just right. Cassoulet is dreamy, creamy soulful goodness and pisteladaire (sp?) the only tart you WOULD bring home to mother.

The best restaurant in San Antonio!!!We love the food and the service in excellent. Chef Cohen has put together a fantastic menu that includes something that will please anyone. The house salad is the best I have ever had. Our steaks were prepared perfectly, and the hot fudge sundae is something to remember! Give this great new restaurant a try!

This restaurant is absolutely horrible. You know that taste in your mouth after you have thrown up? That is the taste what you will have after you have eaten there. The food presentation was okay, but everything had a very weird taste. This was my worst meal ever. On the top of everything it was super expensive. For lunch we paid $80!!!!! Never ever going back!!!!! This place is trying too hard to be fancy and they forgot how to cook!!!!!!

This restaurant is the perfect place! A great wine list, 100 beers (great taps!), a really flexible menu and warm and inviting atmosphere. If you are looking for stuffy French fine dining, go elsewhere. This is a true brasserie - laidback, casual, friendly. I really enjoyed our trip - we lucked out with great weather and sat outside - had the pate, the mussels and some wine. Great experience, attentive service - Renee was great

I can only recommend Brasserie Pavil. I like to go out for lunch with my friend and we have been there several times now. We have probably tried the whole menu by now and did not get disappointed so far. My favorite is the Onion Soup, Pavil Salad, ask for extra dressing its delicious! I love the sandwiches, the burger is awesome as well. And for desert I always have to get the crepes or pear tart. The service is always very friendly. Love it!
