Went last month w/ friends - we all found it really good, the owner/staff exceptionally helpful. I asked for the mid-east spice, Za-atar, and was brought back a dish of it. Husband loved sardine- anchovy dish, lamb app. was great, too.

I live in NYC and I always try new restaurants. I was there for the 4th time in 3 weeks. The food was super fresh and tasty (as always). The service was great. I would highly recommend this place to anybody who's looking tasty and fresh food at reasonable prices. SUPERB! On 7/24/2009 I was there again and I tried Sultan's Delight. Oh my God! I have never tasted anything more delicious than this dish in my life! 2 Thumbs UP!

I just recently went there with whole bunch of friends and we had a feast! Food was excellent. I recommend any of their seafood dishes. Especially, octopus salad or stewed octopus. I'd say decor was pleasant but nothing too flashy for a marriage proposal... I'll be going back. Cheers.

Decor wasn't great, strange undersea theme. Food was very good (we had lamb didn't try the seafood), i would go back. Service was good when there was no one else in the place but once it started to get busy we were kind of forgotten. Reasonable prices.

The decor is a bit tacky (boat/sea theme) [it was redone from when this place was called "Tarabia" which had a much more tasteful interior], but the food is great. Note the Saturday all-you-can-eat brunch at this place which is a good way to get a sampling of all their delicious foods, since individually prices can add up.
