This is an extraordinarily beautiful restaurant, casual yet elegant. The ceiling of the huge main room seems high enough to generate its own weather. The bar, set near the center of the room, is magnificant and inviting. The food is straightforward and is distinguished by quality rather than gimmickry. For example, the pork chop I had was simply prepared but it was without doubt the best pork chop I've ever tasted. Wine? You are in Napa!

Absolutely love this gem in St. Helena. Burger was absolutely outstanding and you have to get the portobello frites as an app. Good space and nice atmosphere. The wine list has some great choices and the owners are nice and friendly. Will definitely be back as often as I can.

Hubby and I are locals here in beautiful St. Helena and we have many terrific restaurants nearby. This one ranks near the top of them. We sat down at 6:15 for a Saturday night meal, had personable and delightful service from our waitress Christina and the maitre' d Louis. The creamy artichoke soup was perfect, the Casear salad was creative/perfect, Chris' pasta ragout was phenomenal, the champagne taster idea was great! Super! We'll be back!

great personality to this restaurant, super young chef, chris aiken from oklahoma paired with robert's vast wine knowledge and now insider take on the napa wine scene

Very unimpressive. Everything from the food to the service is so lackluster, it's painful. I've dined at AKA Bistro many times, and every single time I have walked away very very disappointed. I'm not looking for 3 star dining, and I realize they're a new addition to St.Helena. But even for casual dining it doesn't cut it. When you tell your server that you're vegetarian and they bring you a bacon laden amuse, you have some serious issues.
