Delicious food, even if the menu has only 8 entrees, but very very well coocked. Friendly and accurated service in an elegant ambient but not formal. Perfect for a relaxing dinner at the end of a heavy day.
I had a great time here when i went. The food was terrific. THe wine selection could have been a bit better but i actually have no complaints.
Big improvement over Fourneau, who had outlived its fame. The two visits were both excellent. The only negative was the ambiance-it feels a bit like the lobby of the hotel and the TVs are definitely lousy
What a dissapointment. Calling to make a V-Day res at Fournu's Oven, in the Stanford Court Hotel , we were told it had been replaced with Aurea. A quaint, classy time tested resturant has been replaced by a loud, bright, nevo bar/resturant that was cold and unromantic. Due to renovations,hotel guests walk through the middle of the dinning area to get to check in,dragging their luggage on the tile floor the along the way. We left after 10 mins.
Upscale South-Beach (FL) style vibe to decor. So-called small plates aren't all so small. Yummy manhattans served by bartender.
