We were disappointed. The pasta (as appetizers) were excellent, but the entrees were average. My steak tasted like pot roast. But most upsetting was the total lack of service. It is one thing not to bother a table that is deep in conversation, but it is another to let them sit for nearly an hour after drinks before the first course arrives, and then avoid their glances and other attempts to get the waiter's attention. We will not be back.

I had heard abou the original location in New York. From what people told me, this place lived up to the hype. Great meal and great service equals a great evening no matter the cost. I had the Ravioli Porcini and the Veal Arugula. They were both amazing. The wine recommendation by the captain was good. It was a Super Tuscan wine. I will tell everyone to go here and I will be back for more.

Prototype of the now syndicated progeny of Il Mulino from the Village in NYC; but they get it right to a tee. The classic original Il Mulino menu choices right down to the whittled at the table Grand Marnier soaked oranges at the end. The Real Deal Italian choice Downtown. Right next to the Ritz Carlton Downtown, so a welcome site to aficianados of Italian cuisine. Lives up to the iterations in Wash DC, North Miami and Chicago. Bravo.
