Creative menu. Great flavors. Delicious desserts. Definitely one of our favorite places in the area and one we visit often.
We ate at The Cookery for lunch twice and were charmed. The service was not good (slow), but the food was pretty good. Our charm turned to dismay when we booked a table a week in advance for a 60th birthday dinner, only to turn up and be told that we had to wait 45 min. for a table. No explanation, and no manager to offer one. Another group walked in as we walked out and proclaimed that they wouldn't have a problem as they were "regulars".
I'm not going to brag about this place because I don't want to see more crowds. Corkage is $10. They have to find a solution to opening and closing the back door when its freezing outside. Can't wait to return.
Awesome food. The pork osso bucco is to die for! Very good, reasonably priced wines.I just wish they took reservations!
Food was very good as was the service. The noise level is a bit trying; it would help if there were any materials to absorb the sound. The cauliflower ravioli is wonderful.
