2 families of 4 went New Year's Eve. A 6:30 reservation was made & I was told we MUST be done with dinner by 8:30 due to 2nd seating at 9:00. We were seated downstairs instead of main dining area, and they did not rush us out as implied. Waiter was nice, but messed up two orders and food took very long to come out. Food was just OK, desserts however were surprisingly excellent. Not likely to go back, very dissappointed for highly rated place.
A real gem on Central Avenue in White Plains! We highly recommend this restaurant. Carmine, our waiter, was amazing. All wait staff was always available, yet unobtrusive (the best of both worlds). Top quality ingredients and well prepared meals. The menu is well thought out. Something for everyone. Various interesting and unusual rooms within the restaurant itself. Impressive wine cellar. Easy parking. Easy on/off local highways. A
The food was much better than the deor , while new looked dated. The service was alright for a suburban restaurant but it would be weak for a city restaurant. Over all I enjoyed my meal and would go back.
Went to Gervasi's a few days ago for my 9 year anniversary and we honestly couldn't have chosen a more romantic setting for our night. Our table was very cozy and private allowing for a very romantic evening. Had a great bottle of wine, recieved our orders promptly, and loved the food. Somehow managed to leave enough room for dessert and were extremely satisfied! Can't wait to go back!
A few weeks ago I brought some clients to Gervasi's for a business meeting and I was blown away by the excellent food and service. They placed us in a private room and made us feel like VIPs. My clients loved it and we will definitely be returning there for both business and private events. I reccomend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian food and appreciates a pleasant and inviting atmosphere.
