The menu was like I was back in Milano. Excellent food and gracious service. Decor is just O.K. but will definately frequent this restaurant many more times to taste the different dishes.
The dinner here was great, and there is no better in Westchester. Particularly distinctive was the risotto stuffed ravioli in a white truffle sauce - excellent!! The service was attentive and not overbearing, Jimmy (the owner) stopped by three times to discuss the food, the Brunello was very good and the ambiance was pleasant and not too noisy. We had the most enjoyable dinner in many months. Most certainly worth a try. We will be going back.
Finally great city food in Westchester . Il Sogno by far has the best Italian food in Westchester, you can just about get anything you want (as long as they have all the ingredients).Jimmy the owner is an excellent host .No need for menus, Jimmy will ask you what you are in the mood for and do the rest. The service is great! GREAT FIND!!!!!!!!! will definitely be back!!!!!!!!!!
I DON'T THINK THEY WILL BE THERE VERY LONG. Food was not very good but the service and owners were very nice.
Jimmy makes you feel at home in this very comfortable, family-friendly spot conveniently-located (with ample parking) on the Post Rd. We've been there 7 or 8 times and the food is consistently fresh & impressive. The wine list is extensive and resonably-priced; off-menu options always available for whatever you are in the mood for. This is a top-3 for Italian food quality in Westchester. Can certainly compete with Polpo, Tarry Lodge, etc...
