My husband & I love this place. As my husband is an excellent cook, it's hard to find places to eat that equal his cooking. This is where we go when we want to eat in a restaurant. It's the place I bring my friends when they visit from the East Coast. We have never been disappointed with anything we've ordered. The staff is wonderful too.

OK, so I am a regular and perhaps as such I am perhaps not the most impartial reviewer - but how this place is SECOND best in St. Louis is beyond me. My partner and I are self-styled "gastro-tourists," we have spend a huge amount of time and money on fine dining around the country and Stellina is easily, EASILY, on-par with the finest restaraunts I have had the pleasure of eating at. Perfect, composed plates and bites. Sublime pasta. 10/10.

Not much of a review as I am the owner. I just wanted to reply to Sarah McClure. I am not sure what you ate at Stellina, we have never served sole in the 3 1/2 years we have been open. We have also never sell frozen fish. I am sorry if your meal was not to your liking but this is such a rare occurance here I am suprised to read this review. I would love another chance as I feel like we are presenting St. Louis with some of the finest food around.

I would recommend sticking with the sandwiches when ordering. I ordered the Sole. It was over cooked, tasted as if it had been in the freezer too long and there was NO seasoning on it. My husband ordered one of their signature fresh pasta dishes. There was NO seasoning on it either. It is a nice little place that makes great sandwiches but I was thoroughly disappointed with our meal.

A casual place with great food. Prices are right, but the food is so good you just order more. Excellent and not overly expensive selection of wines. Staff is friendly and courteous.
