Good looking redo of old coffee house. Food and whiskey are pricey. Duck fat fries are just okay. Burger (sans foie gras) was as good as others in neighborhood. It's the type of place wthat may make it in Rittenhouse.

Welcome newcomer to the neighborhood. Short rib fries, greasy yes, but delicious. Burgers very good and service adequate. Extensive alcohol list with reasonable single malt scotch selection but comprehensive bourbon list, all overpriced. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

Went to Tinto for lunch yesterday - closed now for lunch - so we went to Village Whiskey. Interesting menu. Deviled eggs were salty & after the salt, all I tasted was the mustard. For entree - I had the burger - it was yummy. Cooked perfectly to my liking - a bit messy, but what great burger isn't. Had to try the fries, fried in duck fat no less. Not a fan. Will not order those again. Menu was limiting; meal was pricey for what I ate.
