Stop in during happy hour and have the elk sliders and a drink, then get back to the crazines of the market. Not the best decor, but the view is great if you are by the window.

This has to be the greatest lunch counter food in America....the oyster saute is one of the simplest best preparations of fresh oysters I've ever found...excellent local beers on tap...views of the Sound...it shouldn't be good but it is, very good indeed!

Awesome greasy spoon breakfast. Don't expect great service though, as this is probably the most overworked wait staff I've seen in a while. Food is slow almost all the time, and they don't take reservations, so expect to become a part of the line out the door.

Nice old restaurant for breakfast or light fare for lunch. Not much has probably changed with the decor since it opened many years along. Coming to this place is like taking a little walk back in time. Excellent view of Elliot Bay from the many window tables
