I am conflicted about this place? Everything was good, until I was served my main dish with some SEA FOAM? Yes, given that it's called Earth & Ocean, the whole place speaks DINER to me? They don't have the same appeal as they did a couple of years back. Oh, if you venture out of the restaurant to the front desk...Please donot ask the INDIAN woman any questions, for she will bite your head off, she's so rude....

If you can, get a seat with a view of the kitchen. The plates here are gorgeous and everything the servers walk out of there with looks mouth watering. The service throughout the 25 for 25 meal was excellent. We went early and had consistent service from us being the only ones in the restaurant to the dining room filling up. The server and his trainee were very attentive, getting us anything we needed, bread refills, drink menus, water except on

I've been there a good dozen times, and they consistently delivery great plates and drinks with fair-to-middling service. You can knock elbows with clerks and architects or you can find a quiet corner and enjoy their Kobe burger and truffle salt "sexy" fries; their cheese plate varies in quality (and generosity) and is much better than their meat plate. I agree with it not being the best, but it's good enough for me any day.

Christmas Eve prix-fixe menu very limited, Service ok and food preparation ditto. Entrees served at tepid temperature. Price is outrageous and even access to Bill Gate's expense account wouldn't help. Bottom line is Zen meets hip meets Beverly Hills and moved to Seattle. Overrated, overpriced and unfortuately not over there! Bill for 6 with average bottle of wine including mandatory 18 percent service charge came to $750. Never again!

Great place for business lunch. The change of chef has resulted in some dishes such ahi tuna seared salad that I loved is not anymore available.
