Every one around me was raving about their food. I thought it was average at best. I think people dont really know or care what good is sometimes. It was one note flavor. Texes Hot links from cash and carry, in fact that may be where all their stuff comes from. I want meat made here, sausage made in house. But they obviously have the lines, proving they are more right then I. I would rather have a sandwich from Hole in the Wall on James

Long lines at lunch give you fair warning that this place is popular. Their medium sauce is just about all this pepper lover can stand. What really is terrible is the weak bun the outstanding beef and pork BBQ is served on. It disintegrates almost immediately, forcing diners to spoon the shredded or sliced meats off the worthless 'wrapper'. What's wrong with using a sturdy hoagie or toasted bun, folks? The best BBQ sandwich in Seattle. But you had better do it on mon-fri because it is closed the rest of time. The hot will rip you shorts off!

Along with Jones, the best BBQ in the city. Sliced or shredded, the sandwiches are fantastic--especially when "spiked" with a sausage link. For huge eaters, the off-menu "gorilla" size suits admirably.
