Update on review that follows: Finally got here in person. Worth the money!! Far far better than Morton's!!! Best filet I have had good flavor cooked perfectly. I will return....... I had not eaten at Abe and Louie's but I sent a bottle of champagne to a couple who had just gotten engaged, and I told the person I ordered the champagne from. The restaurant went all out to make it a special evening. .

Absolute Boston. Was taken by Boston friend and we each had a dozen oysters (yum) then we shared a 16 oz sirloin steak, creamed spinach, asparagass. Absolutely what it should be. Maitre d and waiter too were exactly what they were supposed to be. The place looks absolutely as it's supposed to look. Wonderful.

We were treated splendidly. Our favorite dinner on our vacation despite all of the much more highly rated restaurants and inns we stayed in on the Cape! The waiters were of the highest professionalism. Despite spending more than we probably would have liked - I think it was worth every penny.... and we even added something extra for the tip!

The best place for steaks in Boston, hands down. Wonderful steaks, wonderful sides, wonderful service, and wonderful drinks. Near the Prudential Center and the Mandarin Oriental, Abe and Louie's has a great location. If you're looking for a great place to dine in Boston, this is it.
