The hot sultry Restaurant Week night was matched by the wonderful cuisine. Our table split between the salmon and the mushroom offerings, but both were pleased. And since it was restaurant week you couldn't beat the value. On a cooler night the open window to the kitchen would add atmosphere, but on this night it only added degrees to the temperature. The cozy dining room was filling by the end of our stay, but the steady traffic is deserved.

This hole in the wall serves up delicious fare, but you might have to ask your fellow patrons to excuse yourself as you try to navigate the tiny aisles.

A great little unknown spot for Italian food without the pretense, over-hype, and expense of the North End.

This popular Kendall Square lunch spot gets very crowded and extremely loud, to the point that it is hard to converse across the table. Service is generally pretty efficient and very friendly, but each visit has had one major service gaffe.
