one of the best tuna appetizers we have ever had in the world is here - with a pomegranate juice sauce

Not worth the trip from Boston just to eat at Blue Ginger. The food is billed as Asian Fusion (East meets West), but really it's just muddled. Maybe in New England these are considered bold flavors, but for anyone who has ever had and enjoyed authentic asian flavors, you'll be disappointed. The staff and place itself were great, but the food wasn't good. Skip this place and either eat authentic New England fare or head to Boston's Chinatown.

For salty, intensely flavored but unsophisticated food at a high price in a ho-hum setting, go here. You get to pay $15 a drink, BUT you do get a famous chef and a famous place. And a long drive. 30-40 dollar entrees that smother the underlying shrimp in an intense sauce dumped on a mound of "mash" with cold, yes cold asparagus in the middle does not add up to elegant dining in my book. Save your money and order moo shu at your local Chinese.

WE USUALLY OVER-HYPED RESTAURANTS, BU T B.G. ABSOLUTELY LIVES UP TO IT. SPACE IS ROOMY NOW, ESPECIALLY THE REAR ROOM, WHICH WE CONSIDERED A BETTER AMBIENCE. THIS IS FUSION TO PERFECTION, WITH THE ASIAN INFLUENCE LIMITED. II'D GO RIGJHT DOWN THE MENU FOR EACH SUCCEEDING VISIT AS ALL ITEMS WERE VERY APPEALING (iEXCEPT THE GINGER LOBSTER AS I DON'T LIKE THAT COMBINATION) THE SERVICE WAS IMPECCABLE - EASILY OUT-DOING THE FANCY RESTAURANTS DOWNTOWN

The food is superb and it is always full of beautiful diners enjoying a warm atmosphere. Waiter's suggestions were right on also.
