An elegant room, comfortable and warm, especially on a chilly fall night. Food was excellent, and rather inventive. Service was very professional including our server, although as your review mentions, somewhat "smug". Definitely a little pricey, but i guess you have to pay for the location??

For good service and fine food, Della Femina is typically on par and is one of the standard bearers for East End restaurants. Perhaps a little too much salt in their cooking, but that may be more a reflection of my personal tastes than anything else. The restaurant is not too loud and the company one would be in keeping is sophisticated. Not cheap.

excellent food snooty atmosphere. difficult to get a reservation.Once your there you glad you waited for the reservation. It's areal dining experience.
