Update from November '09 - Better than ever! Well deserving of it's spot at the top of Long Island dining. Mike and the friendly staff listen to your preferences and serve up a customized tasting menu that is unbelievable. You should be willing to listen to old rock music and enjoy an eclectic decor. We took our daughter and her foodie NYC boyfriend for dinner one night, and they reported talking about the meal for the entire next week.

AMAZING!!! This place has it all - excellent service, beautiful decor, and some of the best food I have ever tasted! Worth every penny!

Food was very good but we could not understand how this could be rated a 28. Doesn't compare to any of the top 25 restaurants in NYC. The sampling menu Saturday night was more like an avalanche of food with no time between each dish, often several dishes on the table at once, with no thought to pairing. Go for lunch if you go at all, but sampling dinner just seemed like a collection of high end appetizers-a top 100 restaurant in NY not top 10.

Tasting menu very good, like a cocktail hour. Outdoor/indoor areas very nice. Waitress should have explained how tasting/wine works since this was our first time. Very rushed and some plates came out too quickly. Disappointed some tables had certain foods and others didn't. Only two desserts were given to our table of two. Timing of seatings needs to be longer as we were asked to pay and finish our wine outside. Overall good needs tweaking.

Awesome! You must try the tasting menu!!! Staff is very friendly, feels like coming home for Christmas every time you walk in the door! The chef comes out and checks on every guest! Quality of the food is some of the best...If you are on the run be sure to ask for a pot to go, you will be sent home with a huge pot of already cooked spaghetti & meatballs that it out of this world.
