The quintessential diner with all the decor to boot. This east end gem is always busy because it is consistently good. If you've never had turnips, now's the time to try them - they're a speciality of the house. Don't forget to make room for their fresh pies. Everyone of them is so superb, you'll forget (or not care) about the calories.

A classic- a taste of nostalgia. Great, fresh broiled flounder, turnips, mashed potatoes. Great pies and coffee. Worth the drive out for the day.
