Bad service, below standard food. I had a hair in my salad. No one cared, they just took the plate away. They didn't take it off my bill because I ate 1/4 of the salad; I had to insist. Pizza was terrible, calamari not fully cleaned and the mussels were smelly. They should know enough not to serve the mussels and clams that do not open. Stay away people.
I should have realized Friday night and not a crowd means not so good food. Pricy ravioli was filled with something besides riccota and tasted like flour. Salad was a la carte. My sausage side was overcooked then returned. Not going back...
never sat down and ate...only called it in. Have had better experiences during the week. If you call on a sunday make sure to wait the 9 rings it takes to get answered, and to have to endure 2 sarcastic loud mouth guys who pay NO ATTENTION when you have to pick up your food. Hope that one of the ladies realizes you are standing there. Otherwise, your in for a wait.
Food excellent. Decor and service okay. Thinks it's okay to charge MANHATTAN prices for pizza place setting.
Excellent neighborhood Italian; authentic, tasty dishes at a fair price; friendly, helpful staff with spot-on menu advice; call ahead on weekends or for large groups; convenient location with endless free parking.
