Decent but not memorable. Had the lobster cake which was far more starch than lobster, cheaply done. The lamb chops I had were well cooked but virtually unseasoned (you can't rely solely on a sauce for flavor on meat). Had a dessert of phylo dough and cream which was dry, bland, and uninteresting. Decor was hampered by the open window on a cold night next to our table. Waitress thought it was world's greatest restaurant; she needs to eat out more

Adrienne is a lovely and reliable restaurant serving a nice mix of modern New England fare and retro favorites (crepes in a sherry cream sauce, anyone?). The farmhouse atmosphere is charming and the service gracious. Sunday brunch is a feast with giant baskets of bread and fresh fruit at every table. Take your mom for her birthday.
